Hancock’s Miller Named Coach of the Year; SBCC’s Seale Claims Player of the Year Honors

First year Allan Hancock College Head Coach Dominique Miller was named the Western State Conference Women’s Water Polo Coach of the Year. Santa Barbara City College sophomore Addison Seale meanwhile was named the conference’s Player of the Year.

Santa Barbara City College is State Runner-Up

Livermore, CA - In just its third year as a program, the Santa Barbara City College Women’s Water Polo program won its first ever Southern California Championship, and went on to finish as the State Runner-Up in the 2016 California Community College Athletic Association State Championships. It was a remarkable run for the Vaqueros, who fell in the State Championship contest to Riverside City College in overtime 9-8.

Santa Barbara Claims Third Straight WSC Title

The Santa Barbara City College Women’s Water Polo program wrapped up its third straight Western State Conference Women’s Water Polo Championship in just its third year of existence. The Vaqueros wrapped up a perfect conference campaign with a 15-8 win over second place Ventura College in the Championship Game of the 2016 WSC Championship Water Polo Tournament.
