Seven Men’s Basketball Schools Qualify for Men’s Basketball Playoffs
A total of seven different Men’s Basketball programs have qualified for the 2015 California Community College Athletic Association Southern California Regional Playoffs. Of the seven, five hail from the Western State Conference South Division, tying the Foothill Conference, for most in a conference.
A total of seven different Men's Basketball programs have qualified for the 2015 California Community College Athletic Association Southern California Regional Playoffs. Leading the way is #4 seed Antelope Valley College (24-5) winners of the WSC South. The Marauders will be at home on Saturday night, hosting the winner of #13 East Los Angeles College and #20 Victor Valley College who play on Wednesday. Coming at the #10 seed was Citrus College (16-10) who will travel to #7 Mt. San Jacinto College on Friday night. West Los Angeles College (17-8) meanwhile earned the #11 seed and will head to #6 San Diego City College also on Friday.
WSC North Co-Champion Cuesta College (19-9) were seeded 12th, and will head to #5 Southwestern College on Friday. Fellow champ Los Angeles Pierce College (17-12) got the #15 seed and will host WSC South's Bakersfield College (18-10) who got the 18th seed on Wednesday for the right to take on #2 overall Saddleback College on Saturday. Rounding out the seedings was #19 College of the Canyons who will travel to #14 Los Angeles Harbor College on Wednesday for the right to play #3 San Bernardino Valley College on Saturday.
