Oxnard Bows Out in Second Round
Oxnard College, the lone representative of the Western State Conference in the 2013 Men’s Soccer Southern California Regionals, bowed out of the post-season this past weekend in the second round. The Condors were knocked out by SoCal #2 seed San Bernardino Valley College 2-0.

Oxnard opened up the play-offs with a 1-0 win against #7 Pasadena City College. Juan Lopez scored the games lone goal, punching it in from 15 yards away in the 59th minute. Against San Bernardino Valley, the Condors showed offensive punch, firing off 18 shots, but a pair of quick goals in the 45th and 48th minutes ultimately sealed their fate.
