WSC Men’s Volleyball Post-Season Awards Announced
The 2013 Western State Conference Men’s Volleyball Post-Season Awards were announced recently. Los Angeles Pierce College Head Coach Lance Walker was named the Coach of the Year, while Pierce’s libero Lucas Yanez and Long Beach City College opposite hitter Jo’Lon Clark were named the Co-Most Valuable Players.

Walker led Pierce to a 15-4 overall record and 8-2 mark in the WSC play. The Brahmas tied with Long Beach City College for the conference title, but earned the tie breaker over the Vikings thanks to their season series sweep of Long Beach.
