Allan Hancock Sweeps WSC Gold Awards

The Allan Hancock Softball program swept the 2015 Western State Conference Gold Division awards. Sophomore pitcher Katie Chenault repeated as the divisions Pitcher of the Year, while sophomore first baseman Jessica Rothanzl was named the Player of the Year. Head Coach Scia Maumausolo rounded out the honors by being named the Coach of the Year.

The 2015 Western State Conference Blue Division Awards were announced recently. College of the Canyons’ Lauren Anderson was named the Player of the Year, while Citrus College’s Anissa Gallegos and Jackie Boxley claimed the Pitcher and Coach of the Year nods.

Owls Clinch Outright WSC Blue Title With Win at LA Valley

Van Nuys, CA -- The Citrus College Softball team clinched the outright Western State Conference Blue Division Championship on Thursday afternoon. With an 8-6 victory over host Los Angeles Valley College, the Owls won their second straight conference title and third in program history with two games left to go.

Allan Hancock Locks Up WSC Gold Championship With Win at Cuesta

San Luis Obispo, CA -- The Allan Hancock College softball team locked up the Western State Conference Gold Division Championship on Thursday afternoon with a 11-0 five inning win over second place Cuesta College. It’s the second straight conference championship for the Bulldogs and their sixth in program history.
