Kneisel and Lundin Go Back to Back
For the second consecutive year, College of the Canyons’ Marissa Kneisel and Head Coach Justin Lundin were given the top awards in the Western State Conference South Division. Kneisel is just the fourth athlete in WSC history to win the Player of the Year award in back to back seasons, while it’s the first time ever that both player and coach have repeated at the same time.

Kneisel is just the fourth athlete in WSC history to win the Player of the Year award in back to back seasons, while it's the first time ever that both player and coach have repeated at the same time.
Kneisel led the entire WSC in goals and assists, with 31 and 12 respectively. Kneisel totaled 74 points over the course of 21 matches. Lundin meanwhile helped lead the Cougars to their ninth conference championship in program history, and their fifth straight. It's the fourth Coach of the Year nod for Lundin in his career.
