WXC: GCC Takes First State Title Since 2016

The Glendale women's cross country team is back on top! For the first time since 2016, the Lady Vaqueros are State Champions. They scored a total of 66 points, beating out Saddleback College who scored a total of 113 points. | ORIGINAL RELEASE

This time they were led by Jamie Levin who would come in 8^th place with a time of 18:51.7. Phoebe Forsyth would follow Levin in 10^th place with a time of 18:53.9. They were followed by Yajaira Calderon who would take 11^th in a time of 18:57.8, Bianca Biel who took 15^th in a time of 19:13.4, and Lydia Forsyth who would take 26^th in a time of 19:44.3 to round out the scoring runners. The final two runners in the race would be Eileen Silva who took 66^th in a time of 20:28.4 and Jasmine Corralejo who took 76^th in a time of 20:40.4.
