Natarajan, Greenelsh Capture Individual State Cross Country Titles
Fresno, Calif. - Moorpark sophomore Maya Natarajan and Cuesta sophomore Weston Greenelsh were crowned the 2025 3C2A Cross Country Individual Champions on Saturday afternoon at Woodward Park. This marked back-to-back titles for Greenelsh.
Greenelsh finished the four-mile course in a time of 19:50.11, edging fellow Western State Conference opponent, Moorpark's Tommy White, who finished in 19:58.32. Moorpark's Trent Williams rounded out the WSC's top three finishers, coming in 12th (20:33.29).
On the women's side, Natarajan cruised to first place with over 10 seconds to spare over the runner-up, completing the 3,000-meter course in 17:40.18. Canyons' Victoria Jamison finished 20th overall (18:55.13), and Ventura's Brianna Richards finished 29th (19:19.49).
In team competition, Moorpark had the best finish for a WSC team on the men's side, coming in eighth (201), followed by Cuesta (12th), and Allan Hancock in 16th (467). And on the women's side, Moorpark placed sixth (222) with Canyons finishing 15th (376), and Cuesta placing 17th (388).
