Harmon and Ramirez Help Ventura Sweep WSC North Awards
Ventura College sophomore guard Zalmico Harmon and Head Coach Joey Ramirez swept the top awards for the WSC North recently. Harmon was named the WSC North Player of the Year, while Ramirez was the WSC North Coach of the Year.
Ventura College sophomore guard Zalmico Harmon and Head Coach Joey Ramirez swept the top awards for the WSC North recently. Harmon was named the WSC North Player of the Year, while Ramirez was the WSC North Coach of the Year.
Harmon averaged over 15 points and five assists per game for the Pirates during the 2012-2013 season. Harmon shot over 30% from three and shot an impressive 80.4% from the charity stripe. Ramirez meanwhile helmed the Pirate squad that shared the WSC North title with LA Pierce College and went 24-7 on the year.
