Cuesta Wins WSC North Title
San Luis Obispo, CA -- The Cuesta College Men’s Basketball team didn’t even take the floor on Saturday night and yet it clinched its 8th conference title. The Cougars claimed the outright WSC North Championship Saturday evening when Moorpark College, knocked off Ventura College to give Cuesta sole possession of first place.

The Cougars claimed the outright WSC North Championship Saturday evening when Moorpark College, knocked off Ventura College to give Cuesta sole possession of first place.
The Cougars went 10-2 in conference play with their only two losses coming at the hands of College of the Canyons and Moorpark in back to back games in late January. Since then Cuesta has rattled off six straight victories, including a 86-64 win over visiting Moorpark College on Wednesday in their regular season finale.
