For the seventh time in program history, the College of the Canyons Men’s Golf team finished the season on top of the CCCAA. The Cougars brought home their seventh CCCAA State Championship on Monday, and their second in three years.
Ventura, CA -- The strength of the men’s golf programs in the Western State Conference was on display on Monday at the 2015 California Community College Athletic Association Southern California Championship. College of the Canyons, reigning WSC Champs, took first place in the team competition, while Santa Barbara City College finished second. The Vaqueros were paced by sophomore Brett Patton who won the individual title with a two round combined total of -7.
The College of the Canyons Men’s Golf program wrapped up their 21st Western State Conference Men’s Golf Championships on Monday afternoon. The Cougars completed the season by winning the WSC Championships by three strokes. It’s also the sixth straight conference championship for Canyons.
