College of Canyons Wraps Up Men’s Golf Title
The College of the Canyons Men’s Golf program wrapped up their 21st Western State Conference Men’s Golf Championships on Monday afternoon. The Cougars completed the season by winning the WSC Championships by three strokes. It’s also the sixth straight conference championship for Canyons.

The Cougars finished the 2015 season with 74 points out of a possible 77. Canyons went 74-3 on the season, and was also home to the individual league champ. Sophomore Eric Kim won the individual title, averaging a round of 72.11 over the course of nine matches.
At the WSC Championships, the Cougars finished the first round with a combined score of 363 paced by Clayton Chatterly's round of 71. Santa Barbara City College kept pace though with a round of 364, just one stroke back. In the second round, Canyons once again posted a score of 363, just edging the Vaqueros who came in two strokes higher in the second round with a 365. Individual Santa Barabara's Brett Patton was the low man, firing back to back 70's for a combined total of 140.
