Ventura Women, Cuesta Men Win WSC Championships
The Ventura College Women’s Swim team and the Cuesta College Men’s Swim team won their respected Western State Conference Championships recently. Ventura scored 828 total points, while Cuesta totaled 762 points over the three day swim championships.

For Ventura it was the most points scored by a team since Los Angeles Valley College scored 846 points back in 1995. No points were kept in WSC Championships between 1997 and 2003. The most previous points was the Ventura squad who posted 819.5 points back in 2004.
For Cuesta, the Cougars snapped a streak of nine straight conference titles by Ventura College. Cuesta outpointed Ventura by just 39.5 points.
