WSC Represented Well at 2013 CCCAA State Swim & Dive Championships
The Western State Conference was represented well at the 20013 California Community College Athletic Association State Championships this past weekend. Women’s champion Ventura College had the highest placing by a WSC team, taking 3rd overall, while the Men’s champion Cuesta College had the highest placing by a WSC team, taking 4th overall.

Individually, Ventura's Henry Chung led the way. Chung won the 200 Back, 100 Back, and 50 Free Individual titles. He was named the Male Athlete of the Meet for his efforts. On the women's side, Ventura's Natasha Tang claimed a pair of individual championships winning the 1650 free and 500 free titles. Tang was also named the Female Athlete of the Meet. Los Angeles Pierce College diver Ryan Anderson claimed the 3 Meter Diving State Championship with a total of 271.50 points. He was named the Co-Diver of the Meet. In relays, it was Cuesta who had the weekend's best race. The 200 Free Relay team of Chris Reddick, Jackson Petty, Dragan Dincic, and Luke Walton, took first place.
